I ordered thirteen shades for my home, and all arrived promptly cut to the specified width. Because my shades are outside mount (mounted on the window woodwork) the brackets included cause the back of the shades to protrude .75" away from the woodwork, and the entire shade to protrude a full 2.25 inches. Select Blinds includes a matching end piece to put on the valence portion of the shade to cover the end opening, but it isn't wide enough to adequately do so. Either there needs to be an option for a bracket that allows the shade to be mounted closer to the window, or there needs to be an option for a wider end piece covering the space between the shade and woodwork. The shades are very nice, but the mounting hardware needs improvement. I rated the shades adequate for appearance because of this.
