I ordered my blinds with a liner in beige. Does exactly the job I want it to do: looks really great, is a cordless blind system, inside mounted, 95% blocks out of all light except for the edges. If you want total block out I suggest doing an outside mount and/or doing edge binding, the snugger the fit the more you block out. It’s so dark in my room now there’s a faint blue glow at night from our electronics we never noticed before, makes for very dark room in the midday Florida sun for naps. If you order without it will only filter light like a sheet curtain. Depends on what you want, order the correct configuration and you won’t be disappointed. I paired mine with sheer panel curtains for a coastal vibe but they work on their own.
