The roller shades with the continuous loop are well made and provide the privacy needed at night. During the day I leave them up, but on particularly hot or sunny days I can see that would help in providing cooler indoor temperatures. The installation process I would say is medium in difficulty. I had to adjust the valence a bit in order for the shade to go up and down properly (had to put this on the notch that was one out closer to the room). I found it helpful to pre-drill holes for the screws as I was attaching this to red oak. Overall very stylish and modern looking in the white color, which is on point. I like that these are custom ordered to fit the specific windows onsite. I recommend the valence is ordered with these shades to provide a more sleek and uncluttered look, I'm glad that I did.
