Why It's A Must Have

Custom-made, the William Morris Room Darkening Roller Shades are part of our collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum. Open them up to filter in light during the day, and close them as needed to darken the room. These darkening shades are custom-crafted with soft, linen-like fabric.

Select an exposed roll option for a minimalist look, or upgrade to a cassette for a more finished look. These shades come standard with a kid-friendly Cordless Lift. You can also upgrade to a Motorized Lift for more convenience.

Recommendations

IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If No-Drill Blinds Headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and input those dimensions into the width field. Do NOT take the smallest of three measurements, which may cause your No-Drill Blinds Headrail not to fit properly.

The No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is only available for Inside Mount, and requires 2 1/2" of depth to install. It is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.

Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the No-Drill Blinds Headrail, regardless of lift style.

When No-Drill Blinds Headrail is ordered, factory will deduct 1/2” off of the width and height of your fabric.

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

No-Drill Blinds Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation.

The locking mechanism on the No-Drill Blinds Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for the Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.

Cassette will be white and fabric wrapped based on fabric chosen. Bottom rail is fabric wrapped to match.

The back of the shade is white to conform with HOA standards.

Products come with 6-8" of extra fabric to conceal the roller tube.

Motorization Details

Remote is already programmed to the motorized shade. All that is required is to connect the battery to the motor and your shade is ready to operate.

Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger.

Motorization Instructions

Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.

Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade.

At least one remote is needed per order. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency. When adding a multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add and power with.

We bought 2 blinds for a bathroom where we wanted privacy for bottom most of the time but for top we wanted it open most of the time. My husband used 2 L brackets to attach bottom blind to side of window. It works great!

We had a very odd size (both shades 60+ inches wide by only 22 inches long) but they arrived perfect. We had a little trouble figuring out the installation but it was very easy after watching the video. We did not have the 2 inch minimum depth but they are very lightweight and seem very securely mounted with only 1 inch depth. Hopefully they hold up over time but so far we're very happy with these shades.
