Recommendations

IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If either No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds Headrail may not fit properly.

The No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is only available for Inside Mount, requires 2 1/2" of depth to install, and is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.

Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the No-Drill Blinds Headrail, and 1/4" off the width of the Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail.

No-Drill Blinds Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance. The Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail is fabric wrapped to match the material of the shade, and is not visible after installation.

The locking mechanism on the No-Drill Blinds Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.

All shades ordered with the Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail will have a small amount of excess fabric on the side of the shade to cover the locking mechanism and minimize light gaps.

The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.

Fabric Roman shades may have wrinkles in the material after installation. Most minor wrinkling will smooth out over several days. For quicker results, you can use a garment steamer on the back of the shade, being careful to avoid direct contact with the fabric.

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time.

Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. We recommend ordering all shades using the longest length in the room and with the same lift system.

Fabric-wrapped headrails come with upgraded Cordless lift only. Continuous cord loop and Motorized lift options have metal headrails with fabric attached to front only.

If the 6" valance upgrade is chosen, the fabric will fall behind the headrail, closer to the wall and valance will cover the headrail.

Only Outside Mount shades ordered with a 6" valance will include valance returns.

When no valance is selected fabric will fall over the top of the headrail (waterfall style), and can be 2+ inches from the wall on outside mount. We recommend 4+ inches be added to the width of your shade when outside mounting to prevent light gaps.

Cordless shades without the 6” Valance upgrade will come with a mini-valance on the back of the shade to hide the mechanism.

The mini-valance on the back of the Cordless shades will be the color of the chosen liner, or the color of the shade if no liner is chosen.

Optional blackout liner comes standard ivory, and both standard and blackout liner colors will be visible from street. Color of unlined shades will be seen from exterior.

Hold down brackets are not available on this product.

Motorization Details

Remote is already programmed to the motorized shade. All that is required is to connect the battery to the motor and your shade is ready to operate.

Motorization Instructions

Rechargeable remote-control Motorization lift system upgrade includes rechargeable motor battery and charger.

Battery charge will last up to 6 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered twice a day. It takes approximately 4 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.

Remote reaches from approximately 65-80 feet away from shade.

At least one remote is needed per order. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency. When adding a multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add and power with.

Absolutely Gorgeous and Quality Blinds!

I have purchased these roman shades for my newly remodeled home in US, another home in US and home in Mexico. I initially purchased these blinds for Mexico and not knowing the quality didn't purchase the motorized blinds which are great however for our final home in US we purchased the motorized blinds and Love them! Here's what we did, we purchased the Hunter Douglas vingettes for the entire home(inside mount), then put the Classica Roman shades over them as a valance. This gives us a more finished look then just the pricey Hunter Douglas blinds and it's motorized. I laugh at he comparison in cost but very happy with the quality and the finished look. I was afraid to buy online but it has been a great experience working with Select Blinds design team and a great savings for a beautiful product.

These shades are not the cheapest, but they are of high quality and worth the price. They look beautiful and the measurements were perfect- particularly in the length when fully down; and the installation was the easiest ever! Took less than a minute in install. I loved them so much, I ordered a second pair for another bedroom. Hoping to replace all my curtains with interior cordless, no drill Roman shades.
