Made from original aluminum, these mini blinds are more durable than ones made from recycled aluminum. The lightweight, horizontal slats are constructed to keep their form if opened incorrectly from time to time (who doesn’t peek through to see who's at the door).

Mini blinds are easy to clean and maintain because they are water and moisture resistant and flame retardant. It's also kid- and pet-friendly with the standard Cordless Lift. The aluminum headrail and bottom rail are color-coordinated to match the slats, match may not be exact . For wide windows, you can upgrade to purchase a two-on-one headrail.

We ordered blinds for 17 windows. 3 were to be 2 blinds on 1 header, those were made wrong and had to re-ordered. The product is fair quality, the blinds do not close fully when trying to block out light. The wand for tilting is VERY thin and feels like it will break soon and easily. The tilt mechanism is stiff and rough which doesn't go well with the wand. The cordless raising works okay if you go slowly. Mounting and installing is easy and the fit is good.

The blinds are of excellent quality. The ordering and installation instructions were great. But the hold down brackets I ordered with the blind were missing. Bummer. I have ordered several shades from Select Blinds in the past and found the whole experience easy, efficient and of high quality. This time I was disappointed.

The plastic handle and hookup to the blinds that turns to open and close blinds is built very fragile and cheap feeling- hard to turn- feels like it will break easy. When closing the blinds - inside tipped up- only top half closes tightly- bottom half of blinds remains half open.
