For the full island effect and to protect their naturally raw edges from fraying, bind your bamboo window treatments with custom cloth accent tapes in a matching solid or contrasting trim.

You'll also appreciate the superior quality of these naturally easy to install and use custom bamboo shades. Show your pride in them on larger windows when you hang 2-on-1 headrail. Operate both separately for the ultimate in light and privacy control. Use a cordless ring pull (hidden discretely on the back of the shade), or a beaded continuous cord loop lift in your choice of color. A 6” valance covers the sturdy headrail to hide it for a high-end finishing touch. Or keep the casual, island cool vibe and let the fabric flow naturally over the headrail waterfall style.

Recommendations

Deductions may vary +/- 1/4". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

When no valance is chosen, the rear side of the headrail will be exposed, and the mechanism visible from the street side.

Standard valance is 6" tall and includes matching returns on all outside mounts. Outside mount valances will measure up to 3/4" wider depending on the type of material/color selected.

Color of liner is coordinated to the fabric chosen, and will be brown, charcoal, ivory, khaki, or white.

When no liner is chosen, woven wood shades may allow visibility through depending on the lighting.

Shades made with the Room Darkening liner may have pinholes visible in direct sunlight.

Since this is a natural product, colors will not be exact. (Seasons can change the color of the reeds, grasses, etc.) Please order for an entire room at once to prevent dye lot variance.

To operate the cordless ring pull, simply tug on the ring in the back to move the shade to your desired location.

With the edge binding upgrade, there will be a 2" border on the bottom and each side of the shade. If the valance upgrade is chosen as well, there will also be a 2" border on the valance.

These are our 3rd order for different rooms and again we are thrilled - ordered the blackout liner which makes a huge difference inside and out. Super easy install as long as you prep - we actually made a template because 5 of the windows were the same and it went super easy. Thrilled with how they look and work! They also shipped quicker than expected which was great.

My new blinds are perfect! Chris was very helpful in assuring I was ordering the correct size. It took my hubby 30 minutes to install all 5 blinds! (We had cellular shades up prior to my new woven blinds so he was able to reuse one of the screw holes and didn't have to remeasure, which was a big time saver.) I am glad I chose the black out backing because it not only blocks sunlight for tv viewing but has thermal benefits too. I am very pleased with my purchase and Select Blinds as a company. Samples are a must!
