Recommendations

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

Standard valances are 6" in height. For windows less than 18" wide, the valance will be 4" in height.

Standard outside mount returns are 2" for Cordless, and 4" for Continuous Cord Loop and Motorization. No returns on inside mounts.

When selecting the Privacy or Blackout liners, the liner color chosen is on the inside of the shade while the outside of the liner (street side) is always white. Charcoal liner will have a grey street facing color.

Liners are made of 100% polyester.

Due to the natural characteristics of the product, the finished height may vary up to 1" longer than ordered height.

Light filtering liners in white, beige, and tan liners are white on the street side. Khaki liner is off-white on the street side. Charcoal liner is gray on the street side.

Blackout liners in white, beige, tan, and khaki liners are white on the street side.

Privacy Liners and blackout liners are attached to the back of the shade where small slits are made in the lining at the ring cord-guide attachment locations. Sewing pin holes may be visible causing light gaps. When Edge-Bindings are also ordered, the privacy lining will be sewn under the binding.

Edge binding is 5/8” wide.

Shades ordered in a cordless lift with edge binding will only have edge binding on the sides of the shade and valance. Not the bottom of the shade and valance.

The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.

Motorization Details

Motorization remote and charger are not included. At least one remote and one charger is needed per order.

Battery charge will last ~6-12 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day. Battery can be recharged up to 500 times. It takes approximately 5 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted.

Motorization Instructions

Motorization 15-channel remote includes one 3V battery, that can power up to fifteen (15) individual or fifteen groups of window treatments. Remote range is ~80'. (Do not let antenna on headrail motor touch any metal objects, as this may interfere with signals from the remote control.) At least one remote per room is recommended.

Motorized products installed in windows with metal casings may have a reduced radio frequency range, or may not operate at all, depending on the application.

Upper and lower limits come preprogrammed. Remotes do not come preprogrammed, refer to the installation guide on how to program your remote to your liking.
