Shading your sunny areas not only keeps you cooler in the shade, it also helps protect your outdoor furniture from fading. Poolside/patio life never looked so good!

Your new solars will come with standard or reverse roll options. To customize the look of the 10% Classic Exterior Sheer Weave Solars, choose between an exposed roll headrail, a cassette headrail with fabric insert, or an exposed bottom rail if you prefer.

If you have young children at home, you’ll have peace of mind knowing the cordless lift system comes standard (C.P.S.C. Child Safety compliant). Other lift options are available including Continuous Cord Loop. Products come with 6 - 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.

These fabrics are not privacy shades and may allow visibility through them depending on the lighting.

Hold Down Brackets available only if the Exposed Hembar or the Fabric Wrapped Exposed hembar is ordered.

Cassette options: Min 15 1/2", Max 115" wide. Min 24", Max 96" height.

Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".

The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.

I ordered these for my screen porch and really like how they look and function. They were easy to order and pretty quick to receive. If I had one suggestion it would be for Select Blinds to add an option of a hole at the bottom of the shade with a pull cord to make pulling down the roller shade easier for us short people so we don't have to use a stool each time.

Great exterior solar shades at a reasonable price

We bought select blinds for the patio at our previous home about 5 years ago and they were very functional. We moved last year and used Select Blinds again for solar shades on our screened in deck. Their shades are even better than they were before. We love them and highly recommend them for consideration to anyone looking for exterior solar shades.

We bought 5 of these Solar shades and 7 Sheer Shades. We are very happy with the quality of these products. As on any new DIY, there is a learning curve for installation. But after the first two the rest were easy. One note when installing the solar shades, when you take off the plastic wrap after getting it up be prepared to catch the shade as all of mine popped out. I found it easier just to remove the shade, install the rail and then put the shade into the side brackets.
