These super room darkening/sun-out roller window shades block up to 90% of incoming light to keep rooms darker, cool and comfortable. Made from flocked acrylic fabric on the front with a layer of 3-pass blackout foam on the back, these custom window coverings will give you the extreme light blockage -- and protection against peering eyes -- you've been searching for. The exposed roll is great for layering under drapery, cornices, or fabric-wrapped valances, with an extra foot of fabric so you won't see the wooden roller when pulled completely down. If you don't want to see the white backing on top of the roller, hide it completely in an optional cassette with a color-coordinated fabric insert for a clean, contemporary look. A well-tailored, easy-grip bottom hem allows for smooth, wrinkle-free operation when raising and lowering. IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If o-Drill Blinds Headrail is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds Headrail may not fit properly.

The No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is only available for Inside Mount, requires 2 1/2" of depth to install, and is not recommended for use with PVC window frames.

Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the No-Drill Blinds Headrail.

No-Drill Blinds Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance.

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

Shades ordered as outside mount with exposed roll will show the hardware brackets, regardless of the roll position selected.

Cordless lift system in a reverse roll with an exposed headrail and outside mount will require flipping the right-side bracket during installation. This will result in screws being exposed once the shade is fully installed.

The locking mechanism on the No-Drill Blinds Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.

We recommend reverse roll for inside mount only. If outside mounted, a large light gap is created.

The Continuous Cord Loop tensioner can be side or back mounted.

Continuous cord loop will be color coordinated to the fabric.

Products come with 12" of extra fabric to conceal the roller tube.

The back of the product comes white to conform with HOA standards.

Essential colors are not an exact match with the light filtering product. Order samples to ensure you get the color you want. This does not apply to the Blackout Sheer Weave fabrics.

Shades over 94" wide and over 82" in height will have a horizontal seam. Seam is placed as high as possible on shade so, in most cases, it remains hidden.

The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop.

Motorization Details

Add a 1-channel remote which can operate on a single frequency or upgrade to a 6-channel and 16-channel remote available at additional cost. When upgrading to multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add to and power with it.

Add-on SelectConnect Bridge allows you to operate your motorized shade with Alexa and the free downloadable Bond Home app. Available for both iOS and Android systems.

Wand color available in White only. Wand length is based on height of shade

Motorization remote is not included and at least one remote is needed per order. Motorization charger comes standard.

Motorization Instructions

1 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade. If you have more than 1 shade to operate on a single remote we recommend 6 channel or 16 channel remote.

6 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade on each channel for a total of 6 shades.

16 channel remote can operate up to 1 shade on each channel for a total of 16 shades.

It's highly recommended that each shade be programmed to its own channel.

Battery operated white remote comes included with a lithium battery CR 2032 – 3v.

Remote reaches from approximately 260 feet away from shade.

Our bathroom window lets sooo much light in it wakes us up at dawn. It's a glass block window so it can't be tinted; has to be covered. It is on the wall in the tub alcove. It's a jacuzzi type tub that I can't reach across to close a curtain or lower a blind manually without actually standing in the tub. I needed a motorized blind that would block most of the light. A little research brought me to Select Blinds and I got the perfect custom motorized blackout roller blind for the job at a very reasonable price. The installation was so easy. Took about 15 minutes. One of the best upgrades to our new home. Love, love, love it!
