Recommendations IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If either No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is chosen, take all three standard width measurements (top, middle, bottom) to check for variance, but be sure to input the exact measurement of the top of your window frame into the width field. Compare the three measurements, and if the variance between them exceeds 1/4", No-Drill Blinds Headrail may not fit properly. The No-Drill Blinds Headrail option is only available for Inside Mount, requires 2 1/2" of depth to install, and is not recommended for use with PVC window frames. Factory will deduct approximately 5/8" off the width of the No-Drill Blinds Headrail, and 1/4" off the width of the Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail. No-Drill Blinds Headrail is only available in the color white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance. The Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail is fabric wrapped to match the material of the shade, and is not visible after installation. The locking mechanism on the No-Drill Blinds Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Continuous Cord Loop. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. All shades ordered with the Built In No-Drill Blinds Headrail will have a small amount of excess fabric on the side of the shade to cover the locking mechanism and minimize light gaps. The safety device is required by law and must be applied on chain loops and prevents free-hanging loops in operating chains. Install the safety device at the maximum distance possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the loop. Fabric Roman shades may have wrinkles in the material after installation. Most minor wrinkling will smooth out over several days. For quicker results, you can use a garment steamer on the back of the shade, being careful to avoid direct contact with the fabric. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below. Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time. Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. We recommend ordering all shades using the longest length in the room and with the same lift system. "No Valance" is the defaulted option. When no valance is selected fabric will fall over the top of the headrail (waterfall style), and can be 2+ inches from the wall on outside mount. We recommend 4+ inches be added to the width of your shade when outside mounting to prevent light gaps. Cordless shades without a valance will come with a mini-valance on the back of the shade to hide the mechanism. The mini-valance on the back of the Cordless shades will be the color of the chosen liner, or the color of the shade if no liner is chosen. Optional blackout liner comes standard ivory, and both standard and blackout liner colors will be visible from street. Color of unlined shades will be seen from exterior. Hold down brackets are not available on this product. The 5-channel remote allows you to operate up to 5 shades on a single frequency.
