These shades come with a kid- and pet-friendly Cordless lift. You can personalize your shades with fabric-wrapped bottom rails and various headrail choices. For more convenience, upgrade to a motorized pull wand to open and lower the shades with a touch of a button. Another option is to upgrade to Eve Motionblinds™ Motorization for Apple Homekit™ control, or the wireless pull wand with remote and add the SelectConnect Bridge to use Alexa or Google Assistant.

Recommendations

Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. Deduction information detailed in the table below.

Products come with 10" - 14" of extra fabric to conceal roller.

Fascia and Cassette come color coordinated to the chosen fabric.

Shades ordered over 58" x 66" with exposed roll will come with larger brackets, and will require slightly more space to install.

Continuous Cord Loop is a color-coordinated cord with plastic beads.

Continuous Cord Loop will have a defaulted lift cord location to the left side.

For 2 Shades on 1 headrail there will be a 7/8" - 1" space between shades. Cord and Wand controls for these shades will be on opposite ends.

These fabrics are not privacy shades and will allow visibility through them depending on the lighting.

Cordless Shades ordered with the Solid Bottom Rail will have a handle attached, while Cordless Shades ordered with the Fabric Wrapped Bottom Rail do not have a handle.

SelectConnect Bridge is only available with Wireless Pull Wand or EVE Motionblinds™ Motorization systems. Standard Pull Wand Motorization is not compatible.

Motorization Details

Pull motor wand is always metal and 25% of the shade's length

Motorization remote will always be black

The Eve by Motionblinds motor can be controlled using an iPhone, operating the pull wand, or by using an optional remote

Shades using the Eve by Motionblinds motor can be controlled using the Apple Home app or the Eve for HomeKit app, both available on the Apple App Store. Motion Hub not needed

A full battery charge will last up to 12 months based on an average-sized shade raised and lowered once a day

Battery life span is approximately 365 cycles on average

Motorization Instructions

Motorized shades ship in "transportation" mode to prevent shade from accidentally operating. After installation the motor needs to be activated. See instructions to activate shade

Shades comes fully charged with upper and lower limits preset

It takes approximately 6 hours to recharge the motor when fully depleted

Motorization offers three remote options featuring a CR2430 battery

Remote comes programmed to the shade. If multiple shades are ordered they will all come programmed to the remote. One remote per room is recommended for convenience

Remote range will function up to 50 ft

Integrated Li-ion battery is rechargeable with USB C cable for Eve Motionblinds Motors.

Android support for Eve Motionblinds motors not yet available.

Ordered two solar shades (one brown and one black) for two new replacement windows. The colors ordered were just as pictured. I followed the measurement directions when ordering and these fit perfectly. Installation was a breeze. The shades are of a nice quality mesh fabric. I love that we have privacy and protection from UV light when shades are drawn yet can still see through. I will be ordering more from Select Blinds! .
